APSRTC Online Reservation of Bus Tickets

APSRTC is the State Road Transport Corporation of Andhra Pradesh.APSRTC, a 77 year old organisation is carrying around 144 lakh passengers everyday. It operates mainly in Andhra Pradesh and to important towns and cities in the neighbouring states of Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Maharastra, Goa, Orissa and Chattisgarh.

Since we are in an internet era where tickets for travel by air, rail are brought through internet, tickets for travel by road can also be booked online. You can book tickets online for APSRTC buses. Booking an APSRTC bus ticket online is simple and the steps are detailed below.

Go to http://www.apsrtc.in/APSRTCOnline/ and sign in if you are a registered user. Else, Register by clicking “New User" button

After signing in, click Advance Ticket Booking. You will be taken to the “Search Place” screen (click on the screenshots to have a closer look)



On the “Search Place” screen, Enter your Journey originating Place Name & Destination Place Name. Then click get places. you will be taken to the “Search For Services” screen.

On the “Search For Available Services” screen, select the date of journey, origin, destination & the appropriate number of passengers. You can choose to book tickets for either the “One Way Trip” or “Return Trip“.You will be shown the “service category ” list. Make the proper entries and click "search services". You will be taken to the "available services" screen.

Select a APSRTC bus service from the available list of services. You will be taken to the screen showing the seat layout of the bus. Select the seat and proceed

In the next screen details of the ticket will be given. Select the pick up and drop off points in the journey and proceed to the next page if the travel summary appearing in the screen is ok.

In the next screen payment modes are given. Choose a method of payment suited for you and submit your email id to receive the e ticket through e mail.
