Comics and Reserve Bank of India, not synonymous isn't. Yes strange it may look, but its true. RBI, the central bank of India, as a part of educating the public, particularly children have come out with an novel idea of publishing comics to educate the children on financial matters. In the pursuit of providing financial literacy regarding banking concepts to all groups of public, RBI has explored through a lot of ways like comics, films, games, to spread the awareness of banking fundamentals.
The comics are available online at http://rbi.org.in/financialeducation There are about six stories illustrated through comics giving financial education. Money Kumar, Raju are some of the characters you will encounter in these comics.
